uploaded files not working

    i have just uploaded some ms word doc files to my forum so others can down load them
    but when you click on them i get this error message
    i have looked it up and found this
    http://www.iis.net/downloads/default.aspx?tabid=34&g=6&i=1521
    should i install it or is there another fix

    You won't be able to install that, it would need to be installed on the server

    How large are the Word documents, do you have a link to them?

    they are only 80 kb each one in each post
    they are in members area only so will sort you a pw/un out and pm to you

    Hi Steve,

    It looks like SMF doesn't like PHP5, I have changed your site to PHP4 and it is now working ok.
