I know there is some real php experts in this forum and I've found a wordpress script that I'd really like to use. http://www.kinkydress.com/php-scripts/shorturl-plugin/ I can't seem to get it to work though, anybody have any ideas?
Apparently in reading the comments you can use the script without .htaccess. What error are you getting?
Sorry guys I have little knowledge of php and downloaded an older version, this latest wordpress version does now work fine. the original does use a htaccess file but you can use it without it and make it look nice by putting the u.php in a different folder to the plug-ins
Good to hear you got it working. By the sounds of the comments on their site the lack of a .htaccess file doesnt seem to cause any majot problems.
