Opening and editing EPS file?

    I have found an eps file to use as an image on my website from istock.com. It is apparently in layers and there is something I want to remove. I only have photoshop so apart from Illustrator (out of my budget and I won't need it enough) what can I use to open and edit this eps file?? Many thanks!

    Hi the following will open an EPS file:-

    CorelDRAW
    Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, or Photoshop
    QuarkXpress

    If you have none of the above send the file to me and I will open it and then save it as a PDf or GIF for return

    Thanks Chris. I have photoshop so I can open the eps file but there are no layers. I wanted to remove something and apparently the original file (either the EPS or AI file) is in layers.
    I'll see what I can do in photoshop.

    I was hoping there was something free or cheap like Illustrator that would open eps and AI files the same way Illustrator would. :rolleyes:
