http://www.logodesignpros.co.uk/ A client of mine used them and found them very good. Their Start-up Business Package costs £149 and for that they will provide you with 4 Logo Samples, created by 2 different designers, and within 2 to 3 days.

^ The problem with that type of company is that the client never communicates directly with the designer - it's all done via a middle man. And their source of "designer" (just look at the logos :glare:) is dubious at best...
