    Default SQL Problem

    Hi all,

I have a problem with a site that was moved across from another host. The site is running dotnetnuke and copied over with no problems, the web.config file was updated to point to sql2005 and all database names, users and passwords kept the same. The domain name has had its nameservers changed and are now totally pointing to ourwindowsnetwork.com but for some reason all I get is server error on the webpage. There is no portalalias on its own in the database only a portal one that has the portalalias listed with the domain address.

    Web address is www.ac1recruitment.co.uk

Have since been in contact with Carl who has said the server is reporting "Security.SecurityException: Request failed"

Any help please would be a great help.

    Many thanks
    Steve

Is there a module you're using that requires more than medium trust?

    Hi.

There are multiple modules which are being used. Carl was not able to tell me which one was causing the security issue. The site has a module being used which users upload and store their cv's. I am assuming that this module is the one causing the problem.

Did you you try removing each module until it worked as per my reply to your ticket?

I do not have any login details for the site itself so am unable to remove any from there, short of holding them all back during install and seeing which one gives me the error when I upload I dont know what else to do.

The old hosting company have said that the site was hosted on a dedicated server which had its own trust settings

For future reference the 'Temporary Domain' feature in helm is a good way of testing things before changing nameservers or waiting for propagation.

    Hope you get it sorted,
    Ben

Thanks for comment. Site is not going to work due to permission issues with asp.net / network service
