Thread: photo cms

    Default photo cms

    Hi All

I have been visiting a few photography websites and was wondering about creating a site similar to this http://www.clikpic.com/.

I would like people to sign up, pick a template, have a web address to their site (possibly mysite.domain.com) and upload images to a gallery that could have different categories, update text on the pages and also add images to other pages.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers
    John

Cant say I know of anything in particular that will suit your needs but it may be worth looking at some of the more popular CMS's and looking at any mods/add-ons they have.

I have seen a couple in php. Will dig the links up. Another way would be to use flickr. Write your own app and use its api. You can create some really funky mashups with the api and another advantage is the pictures are stored to flickr meaning you're not using your webspace on csnm :)
