Am trying to establish wordpress permalinks

Am trying to establish wordpress permalinks and they just will not work with csnewmedia - we are going to have to go to a "Wordpress friendly" ISP at this rate. Apparently we need to modify the file rights to .htaccess file?
Having big problems doing this.

Problem you seem to have is that you are on windows hosting - htaccess doesn't work with windows. It is possible to use permalinks using isapi rewrite, or there is probably a wordpress plugin.

Alternatively if you are only intending using wordpress only why not send a ticket to Carl asking if he can move you to linux hosting, maybe easier in the long run.

That'd be the best idea, and if you were to have a windows and a linux account I believe there are discounts.
