I am trying to setup the following sub-domain
http://boarding.media.siphilp.co.uk but it's gives me an error.
Is this possible or am i going to have to shorten it to
http://boardingmedia.siphilp.co.uk

Hi,
Yes you will need to add it as http://boardingmedia.siphilp.co.uk (http://boardingmedia.siphilp.co.uk/), it's a limitation in Helm.

What if you added media.siphilp.co.uk as a full domain then added boarding as a subdomain from that?
Not sure if it would work?

Sure would but uses up another domain. Depends which package you're on I guess.

I think you can still add additional domains for £9, but £9 is a lot just to put an extra .dot. in a subdomain!

Additional domains are £7.50 per year, and even if they were £9 that isn't expensive to host an extra domain!

Oh no Carl I was not saying they were expensive- but in the context of adding an additional dot in between boarding and media it would be kinda not worth it when you could compromise without it!
Don't worry I was pleased to see the £9 and now even moreso with the £7.50 as I was wondering the other day!
Sorry for the confusion!

thanks, however it's not that easy. My domains are all pointing here from 1 and 1 and that domain name exists there. I'll just have to rethink sub domains in future :S

Even if your domains are just pointing here you can still add media... and then add boarding as a subdomain of that. As long as the DNS' point over here it's fine!

Guys thank you soooooo much. Didn't realise how much stuff points to pics etc in this sub-domain. Just waiting on dns changing and touch wood all should be working :)
Thanks again
Si
