Hi all
I'm looking at linux reseller accounts, just wondered what you do about security, backups, spam, so that I can sleep at nights.

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in CS New Media Web Hosting.
Our Linux servers run an APF IP tables firewall. We also have our own full security hardening policies in places (specific kernel mods etc..) which will ensure maximum protection against intrusion etc.. We cannot provide specific details regarding these policies for security reasons.
Backups are carried out on a daily basis from 1am in the morning via rsync to a second hard drive, this second hard drive is then replicated to an external server off the main network so we always have 2 sets of backups. Our backups are only really for a disaster failure, we of course recommend customers keep their own backups too.
We use the Mail Foundry web appliance to protect us against spam. We do hold a tight ship on security and keep everything up to date as much as possible.
Please let us know of any further questions you may have.
